What type of paint should we use for the flower handprints?
Standard child safe, non toxic water based acrylic craft paint or washable tempera paint works beautifully on our smooth birch plywood. Use a small foam brush or sponge roller to apply a thin, even coat across your child's hand, then press down gently on the timber. Allow the paint to dry flat completely before placing the sign on display.
Can this design fit prints from multiple children?
Yes. The floral stem layout easily fits two or three toddler or baby handprints positioned side by side as different flowers in the bouquet. For older children, two prints fit comfortably across the top of the stems.
