Frequently Asked Questions
What powder works best with these timber stencils?
Plain baking flour or cornstarch works wonderfully on dark rugs and timber floorboards. For light coloured carpets, you can use glitter mixed with a touch of flour or coloured chalk dust.
Can I use these stencils outdoors?
Yes. They work brilliantly on concrete paths, pavers, and front verandas. On outdoor surfaces, a quick sprinkle of flour will naturally wash away with the garden hose or next rainfall.
How do I clean the stencils between uses?
A light tap against your hand over a bin removes most loose flour. Follow up with a soft, dry cloth. Never immerse the timber in water or place it in a dishwasher.
